The majority of these games are simply terrible (to me) but this is what a large group of the hobby finds interesting. All gaming opinions welcome here.
The first was the best (Blades in the Dark) until he said Steam P ... NO. I know eccentric people like Steam P ... NO. But, just no ... It's your kink ... keep it to yourself. The game does sound interesting in a read it once and put it on the shelf sort of way.
The one with the Sun dying makes sense in a world where everyone lives in their Mum's basement. Seriously, the Sun is going to be fine. It's a big ball of fusion. It will be fine. Feed your cats and get some more ink. It will all be fine.
The last game about the Witches who were Me Too'd by the otherwise reasonable Commies in the USSR by making them bomb and terrorize civilians with old timey planes because .... frankly ... other than just a little sexism ... the Commies weren't so bad.
Forgetting of course that basically everyone who got in a plane in the early part of the war against the other wise perfectly reasonable Third Reich died quick and bloody. And, Stalin murdered and destroyed tens of millions of his own citizens for equality comrade ... so what's a little sexism? For a dude who clearly majored in irony in university, the dude sure did miss it. (Forgive my sarcasm, it helps me understand poorly thought out ideas.)
The dude did have the privilege of being born in a place with solid diction and good sound recording equipment. While I don't agree with his assessment, his delivery was competent and easy to understand.
It does go without saying ... a woke goth dude having his brain short circuited because Lovecraft was a racist ... does not compute. Does not compute. That's going to be a hard one to pretzel your brain around. Want ideas of demented mad man but can't blindly accept all ramblings of demented mad man. Can not compute. Can not compute.
Yours,
IronConrad
